On behalf of the Ditsong National Museum of Natural History (former Transvaal Museum), I would like to thank you again for such a wonderful evening lecture that you gave at the museum on the 24 April 2012.

The public had been looking forward to this event and you surely didn’t disappoint. The presentation, coupled with your special brand of humour, made it an enjoyable evening for all who attended. The success of the talk was clearly highlighted by the large and diverse crowd that attended. It was actually the first time that we attracted even learners to an evening lecture.

We received a lot of commending letters from the public and they are already enquiring about the possibility of a future lecture on spiders. Please let me know how you feel about this.

Bona Nyawose
Director Distong National Museum of Natural History

The general perception of spiders and scorpions is a very negative one. We have been bought up to fear the unknown. Ignorance, fear and misinformation have resulted in these amazing creatures being seen as animals to kill, pests and the scourge of mankind.

Jonathan’s mission in life is to show these animals in their true light; to educate people, to change their lives forever and to create a better understanding. He accomplishes this through talks, walks, interactive experiences, media, books and courses.

[googlefont font=”Oswald” size=”18px” margin=”0px 0 10px 0″ color=”#119ed4″]Occupational Health Courses[/googlefont]
Courses are aimed at organizations operating in areas where spiders and scorpions abound. These courses reduce the occupational health risks associated with spiders and scorpions, equipping the organization to work safely, respond to medical events, shape company policy, advise on conservation issues and develop emergency protocols.

[googlefont font=”Oswald” size=”18px” margin=”0px 0 10px 0″ color=”#119ed4″]Public Training Courses[/googlefont]
Jonathan offers insightful and educational training courses, aimed at the general public. Held at various locations around southern Africa. participants learn about spiders and scorpions in a practical and easy to understand way.

Courses for private conservation groups, Eco-estates, lodge guests and wildlife organizations can be arranged.

[googlefont font=”Oswald” size=”18px” margin=”0px 0 10px 0″ color=”#119ed4″]Wildlife Experiences[/googlefont]
Have you ever wanted to immerse yourself in nature rather than view it from the confines of a game vehicle?
Wildlife experiences are held at some of the most amazing places in southern Africa and allow the participants to get up close and personnel to nature in all its forms – from walking in big 5 areas to river rafting through the Richtersveld Transfrontier Park.

[googlefont font=”Oswald” size=”18px” margin=”0px 0 10px 0″ color=”#119ed4″]University and Education Groups[/googlefont]
