UV Torches feed

The UV LED torches that I offer on my site have been tested and proven in detecting scorpions. The following torches have been selected from a wide variety of torches available. They have been selected according to their practical usefulness, quality and ruggedness and for their scorpion detecting properties (of course!). You can also detect fake bank notes, leaking air conditioning pipes, fungus infections in cats :-O but I use them for looking for scorpions.

They have proven themselves under the following conditions.

  • Checking for unwanted scorpions in houses.
  • Used by luxury lodges that are located in areas of high scorpion populations.
  • Field Guide Training schools during their FGASA accredited training programs.
  • Arachnologists and other Scientists when searching for scorpions.
  • Field Guides when conduction night drives and night walks with their guests.
  • Scorpions Enthusiasts.
  • Scorpion surveys in various game reserves and National Parks.
  • Amateur Naturalists to detect scorpions and observe them without disturbing them.
