Who am I?

I'm author of Scorpions of southern Africa and co-author of numerous books and publications on spiders and scorpions. I write for Getaway, Africa Geographic, professional speaker and field guide. Been described as "strange! but in a nice way". My mission in life is to share my enthusiasm, experience and passion for creepy crawlies with everyone, and to change the perceptions about these amazing creatures.

Hoedspruit Wildlife Festival

I'll be at the Hoedspruit Wildlife Festival from the 13th to 15th July.I'll be giving a short talk on scorpions around 3:00pm on Friday and again on Saturday. I'll also be wandering about, chatting to people, scratching around for scorpions and just being me.
