Who am I?

I'm author of Scorpions of southern Africa and co-author of numerous books and publications on spiders and scorpions. I write for Getaway, Africa Geographic, professional speaker and field guide. Been described as "strange! but in a nice way". My mission in life is to share my enthusiasm, experience and passion for creepy crawlies with everyone, and to change the perceptions about these amazing creatures.

Jonathan will be giving an entertaining and lighthearted presentation of scorpions of southern Africa at the Southgate Mall. The presentation starts at 9:00am. Come and meet one of the worlds authorities on southern African scorpions.

Jonathan will also have live specimens on show for those of you brave enough to get a close look at these amazing creepy crawlies.
