Who am I?

I'm author of Scorpions of southern Africa and co-author of numerous books and publications on spiders and scorpions. I write for Getaway, Africa Geographic, professional speaker and field guide. Been described as "strange! but in a nice way". My mission in life is to share my enthusiasm, experience and passion for creepy crawlies with everyone, and to change the perceptions about these amazing creatures.
