Who am I?

I'm author of Scorpions of southern Africa and co-author of numerous books and publications on spiders and scorpions. I write for Getaway, Africa Geographic, professional speaker and field guide. Been described as "strange! but in a nice way". My mission in life is to share my enthusiasm, experience and passion for creepy crawlies with everyone, and to change the perceptions about these amazing creatures.

This species has a large venom gland which it store its strong venom. This scorpion in of medical importance because of its strong venom and amount of venom it can inject.
