Having spent years working with venomous animals in some of the most remote places in Africa, I’ve learnt that the importance of doing the right thing in the shortest possible time is often critical. I deal with medical emergency queries from lodges, organisations, medical professionals and the general public. I know what is biting or stinging who, in which areas, and at what times of the year.
My first aid guide and courses link spider and scorpion biology, natural history and medical science, all glued together with common sense. It will provide you with the knowledge to appreciate and understand the seriousness of a bite or sting when and where it occurs. More importantly, it gives you the tools to take the next step and to act responsibly and quickly.
